We’re pleased to welcome Orlando Pecchenino, who with his brother Attilio, run this 61-acre farm in the Dogliani section of Piedmont. Most of it is planted with Dolcetto.

The property has been in their family since the 1700’s, but they have been making wine under the family name for four generations. In addition to their estate in Dogliani, the family has acquired property in Monforte, in San Giuseppe and Bussia for the production of Barolo Le Coste and Barolo Bussia Corsini.

Although they had been making wine for four generations, the turning point came in the 1960’s when Luciana Vietti married winemaker and art connoisseur Alfredo Currado.

This February, we welcome Elena Penna Currado of Vietti.  Recognized as one the very finest Italian wine labels, the estate has gradually grown over the course of time. Today the vineyards include some of the most highly-prized terroirs within the Barolo winegrowing area.

$75 per person (+tax & gratuity)
We’re off to a delicious start in 2020 as we welcome two prominent guests who will share their wines over lunch.

In the 1960’s, Alberto di Grésy spent much of his time supervising the agricultural operations of the family estates when he concluded early on that he didn't want to limit himself to selling the grapes from his vineyards to the finest wine producers in the Langhe area.

Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Grésy includes four wineries located in the Langhe and Monferrato, places chosen for the production of the greatest Piedmontese wines. Jeffrey Chilcott, Cellar Master of Marchesy di Gresy, will be joining us.

Southern France Wine Dinner
Tuesday, January 21st, 6.30pm

Hot, rugged, rolling and dry, the vastly varying terroir of Southern France produces exquisitely intriguing wines - Rhone, Provence, Languedoc are all covered, which produce everything from dry white wines, as in Picpoul de Pinet, to intense, fortified red wines like Banyuls.

We look forward to exploring the many gems this region has to offer.
